The Information Services Department (ISD) (simplified Chinese: 政府新闻处; traditional Chinese: 政府新聞處) is the Hong Kong Government's public relations consultant, publisher, advertising agent and news agency. It is the link between the administration and the media. It therefore tries to enhance the public understanding of government policies, decisions, and activities.
Prior to the current location at the Murray Building, ISD was once headquartered at the Former French Mission Building[1] and at Beaconsfield House.
